I dunno also like maybe imagine for a moment that you are in college over christmas so you can’t celebrate with your family and you can’t even really pause to celebrate with friends/by yourself bc you’ve got exams and assignments just as if it weren’t christmas, and on top of that you are not allowed to have even a small christmas tree in your dorm room like idk. i know christmas operates differently from jewish holidays but would it not be at least like, sort of not-great.
