I think B/akugo needs i little bit of humiliation I think he is too privileged and need a reality check, I know he is not really bad and believe me I like him a lot but I think he is too pampered? Well... It feels unfair but hey he is the most loved/ biggest fambase/. I could only wish my fav could at least make it to 1-A but it's hard to believe a shounen could be impressive and a little bit... Not predictable.
AnonymousOkay, I’m gonna have to hard disagree with you here. Bakugo (and any class 1-A kid) got into the school because of their own hard work and dedication to strengthening their quirk and themselves.
The only real privilege Bakugo has in society is that he has a strong, physical power-up type quirk and he doesn’t come from a poor family (the same can be said for a huge number of other characters). Also his family and himself constantly push him to work harder and past his limits, often disregarding his mental health and wellbeing (look at how Mitsuki treats him and the guilt he carries in ch119), so I wouldn’t say he’s lived a particularly pampered life.
I do agree on the fact that Bakugo needs to learn humility, but so does Todoroki and this is being directly addressed (no spoilers but ch114 onwards / end of the liscence exam arc).
In fact when looking at 1-A the only real “privileged” kids are Todoroki and Yaomomo, since they got in through recommendation, but obviously this “privilege” isn’t really all that since they both
a) have incredible control and power over their quirks, rightly earning them places at Yuuei
b) also had to take entrance exams, albeit different ones
When looking at Shinso (who I assume this ask is about) the reason he didn’t make it into 1-A is not the fault of any of the kids, but the fault of Yuuei having an entrance exam that only favors those who have physical/power-up quirks. Anyone with a quirk like Shinso’s, that can only be used against other people (similar to Aizawa’s quirk), is as good as quirkless in the entrance exam.
I’d suggest bringing this issue up with Nezu over a cup of tea.

OKAY SO, BASIC THEORIES ABOUT NEXT CHAPTER / HOPEFULLY WHAT WILL BE A SHINSO ARC
BASIC SHINSO ARC THEORIES
- Right now we’re in the middle of winter (I believe it’s around December), the start of a new first term is in April so Shinso will spend the last term of their first year (Jan-March) training with the hero classes when he can in preparation for transferring into the Hero Course in April.
- Shinso gives Horikoshi the perfect opportunity to replace the 1-A traitor. There’s a million different theories on who the traitor is but I’m dead set that it’s one of the students (cough hagakure cough) so if the traitor is revealed any time soon Shinso can easily be transferred into 1-A
- (Despite how much I want Aizawa to pull the trigger and expel Mineta t will never happen)
- The thing around Shinso’s neck/mouth is a voice manipulator, it can change the pitch, tone, and speed of his voice to disguise it and make it easier for him to trick opponents into answering his questions. With practice he can use it to emulate the voices of people he knows.
- If Hatsume gets her hands on it she could definitely give it some sort of memory so he can store different voice settings
NEXT CHAPTER
- Aizawa lent him his capture weapon to aid in his training and get him used to using support items, when he gets to have a full hero costume he won’t have Aizawa’s weapon, but will definitely have something similar to help him with physical fights/capture
- At this point I’m going to assume only Ojiro and Izuku know exactly how Shinso’s quirk works, while everyone saw him at the sports festival since he’s in general studies most of the class don’t remember him too well, though they’ll catch on
- The exercise will be a simulated fight, probably one class plays the villains and the other heroes and they have to retrieve something
- Someone from each hero class (read: Monoma and Bakugo or Denki) will be skeptical how anyone from General Studies can compete against the Hero Course, they’re the first to get brainwashed
- Izuku notices that physically Shinso has improved incredibly since the sports festival, cue Soft™ Izuku smiling as he realizes Shinso is getting closer and closer to his dream of becoming a hero

one thing becomes obvious after watching them long enough. They probably haven’t realized it themselves yet, but the class revolves around a certain pair. It’s not that they bring everyone together or serve as pillars or anything like that. In fact, these two don’t get along. But at one point or another, they infected the rest of the class with their passion and fervor. It’s odd, but at least one of them is sure to be at the heart of every storm. So no, Joke, I’m not worried.
